Thanks for being the best mom ever
No words can express how much love I have for my mom and the gratitude for the life she gave my sister and I. She’s a role model, and filled every space she entered with so much joy and light. Xoxo

Obituary:
Debi Kircher (born Debra Anne Latham) was a wonderful human being who lived her life full of love, joy, and playfulness. She had a huge heart and exuded kindness. She passed at 64 years of age in Monterey, California on December 19, 2025. Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed. <break>
Debi spent the last two years living in Pacific Grove, California fulfilling her lifelong dream of living by the ocean. She spent many days walking along the beach, watching the seals and otters, and taking swims at Lover’s Point and Del Monte beaches. <break>
Debi was born in Sacramento on July 19, 1961 to Helen and Ralph Latham, and raised in Roseville, California. She graduated from Oakmont High in 1979. Debi spent her early working years with her family’s business, Latham Lumber. She then pursued her dream of studying psychology and obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Psychology from Sacramento State. Debi went on to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She combined her knowledge and insight with her kindness and passion for disability rights to make life changing impacts for many children, families, and individuals across Northern California. Debi helped children and adults with disabilities, along with their families, through her work within multiple school district, and Applied Behavior Analysis Clinics via Trumpet and Easter Seals. Through her more recent work at North Bay Regional Center, she supported individuals living in crisis homes, where she helped her clients live more independently and fully.

In addition to her career, Debi was a phenomenal mother. She absolutely loved being a mom and provided unwavering unconditional love to her daughters. She also loved traveling, both trips close to home and international multi-country adventures, with Italy being her favorite destination. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends. Some of her favorite times with her loved ones included chatting and laughing in the sun at her favorite wineries, singing karaoke barefoot with her niece, teaching her daughters to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch, and traveling the world with her loved ones. Debi loved music and dancing. You could find her dancing and singing along to live music or creating her own dance party at home. Debi knew how to create fun in any and all situations. She spread her joy and love everywhere she went and could always make a friend.

Debi’s memory lives on in her daughters Stephanie Kircher and Natalie Cortright, son-in-law Isaiah Cortright, niece Wendy Cedron-Craft, Cati Craft, Adrean and Aiden Cedron-Craft, and her many beloved friends.
