I remember when every time I would feel sad or upset she would take me to get ice cream and that would just make my day
Beth was born on Christmas Day to Jack and Cheryl. Her mom would go on to say that was her greatest Christmas present ever.
In college path would eventually find her calling to be a social studies. Teacher will also making many lifelong friends. I was also during this time that Beth would meet her future husband, although it was far from love at first sight. In those first years, we were just people who were in the same major, and had some of the same classes and had a couple of friends in common. Because of this, we had some interactions, but then mainly revolved around whether or not, I could get a copy of her notes because I hadn’t taken any, and Beth not wanting to give me those notes because I was a slacker. It wasn’t until our senior year historical seminar class when we really started to talk more, and that was not involving any kind of romance or relationship. In fact, if you had been in that class, and observed our 30 minute argument over whether we should go to Boston with our professor (I wanted to go and she didn’t) you would have that anything romantic would happen at any point. Walking out of class that day I tried to ease the tension by telling her I wasn't upset but was just trying to waste some time in class. Beth’s response “Don’t touch me and don’t talk to me!” I tried again at dinner, and Beth again was not having it. At the end Of the semester A study group was formed for her oral final that we would be taking bath. Still thinking I was a slacker was not thrilled that I was there, and did not want to trust me when I was giving an answer so much so that she called our professor at 10 o’clock at night, waking him up and having a half hour conversation with him about the question, only to find out that I was indeed, correct (a fact I never let her forget and she always told me I got lucky on it). On the day of the final as we passed each other on campus, I asked her how it was, and why I had never gotten her AIM screen name. She ended up giving me her screen name and taking mine, but we didn’t talk for a couple weeks after. It wasn’t until a random night between Christmas and New Year’s that bath would message me asking about the cruise. I had just been on with my family and being annoyed at the fact I was complaining about having to go and work well. Also complaining about how windy the cruise was. She would tell me later, she contemplated why she ever sent me that message because I was being a jerk. But she did send it, and that message led to talking another night and another and another until we couldn’t go a day without talking to each other and we would be looking for each other to come online. That lead to the occasional dinner, meet up at the dining hall, and eventually our first date and on campus concert in the Cultural center auditorium. From there I would surprise bath on Valentine’s Day at her job in the Wegmans photo lab where I would be introduced to three of her best friends who let me tag along while they went out to dinner after work and as I would find out later, ended up giving Beth their approval on me. I knew within the first three months of dating that I loved her. It would take a little more time to come to the realization that she loved me, but like everything else with our relationship it was in the perfect time. we got engaged in the summer of 2003 And married in 2004. Screw that time bath was teaching Social studies at Charles Finney high school. During the summer of 2005 beth, received an interview request with Stafford county public schools in Virginia. After some talking about it, but agreed to do the interview and we came down not knowing just how much our lives were about to change.
