Love you later
Zane David Wade Kracht completed his life on earth on March 3, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1999, to Bobbie Jo Wade. In 2002, he and his mom were joined by Neil Kracht, becoming a family of three. In time, Zane was blessed with two younger brothers, Adryan and Seth.
As the oldest, Zane was the leader of the pack—the one who went first, who showed the way. He taught his brothers many of life’s lessons, some wise, some wild, but all rooted in love. He showed them how to face life’s hardest moments head-on, with the strength and courage of warriors. Zane loved his mama fiercely, and he made sure that same love lived on in his brothers and closest friends. He never hesitated to say, “Love You Later.”
A true country soul, Zane found joy in the simple and the free. He loved fishing, longboarding, camping, playing soccer (7 years undefeated), cruising back roads, and spending time on the river with his boat. He graduated from Sigourney Schools in 2017 and stepped into the working world, taking on many roles—from framing to, most recently, working as a machinist at Weiler.
Zane was a friend to many and the light of every gathering—the kind of person who made moments feel fuller and laughter come easier. Most weekends were spent with his brothers or the friends he held just as close. While he knew how to live life to the fullest, he also understood what mattered most: family, friendship, and faith in something greater than ourselves.
In 2025, Zane met the love of his life, Katie. With her came Tate, who quickly became someone Zane deeply cherished. He looked forward to building a life together as a family of three, alongside his beautiful German Shepherd, Miya.
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Zane—a deeply loved son, brother, partner, best friend, and so much more than words can hold.
Zane carried a light within him that reached everyone around him. He had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and truly cared for. Whether he was with family or surrounded by friends, he lived with a big heart and a spirit that left a lasting mark on so many lives.
This page is a place to hold onto that light.
Here, family and friends are invited to share photos, videos, stories, and messages—to remember Zane, to honor him, and to keep his spirit alive in the moments and memories that will never fade.
We design every page from Zane’s 31 photos. Make it yours, then order a copy for everyone who loved Zane.
