Crafty memories

I remember one summer when we went to go visit her in California and we spent the day at the beach collecting shells. We then took the shells back to her apartment and spent some time making crafts with them. We made them into little dishes and she told me I did such a good job with my little shell trinket dishes that they could even go in a gallery. I also remember showing her other crafts like wire wrapping. Many years later, when she had moved to Texas, we spent an afternoon working on a painting together. I still have the painting and I remember that day whenever I pass it by.

Carlynne HernandezShe always enjoyed watching you girls being “artsy” 💕
Samantha SalcedoI think having known her is one of the reasons I love art so much, both making it and collecting it.

One Crafty Lady

I remember for a few years for Christmas Great Grandma would sew me and my sisters new doll clothes for our American girl dolls. They were beautiful and so unique. She also knitted me a beautiful green blanket I would sleep with it in the car every morning on my way to gymnastics and school.
