Life story

Charlotte Janet Bunch was born April 20, 1932 in Topeka, IL to Paul and Pauline Bunch. Charlotte dedicated her life to caring for her children and imbuing them with the love of Christ. She was an avid baker, creating foods that would be passed down generation to generation, and made many memories at family get togethers that she hosted at their residence. Charlotte attended Emden Christian Church weekly with her husband and instilled the same passion she had for God into her children and grandchildren.

Otis Darold Lynn was born February 10, 1933 in Oakford, IL to Otis and Eva Bell. Darold spent his days working for caterpillar and then later Kroger, but took time to take his family and wife on many road trips across the country. He was an active member of the Emden Christian Church with being a Sunday School teacher, an Elder, and a Deacon. Darold also volunteered in his community on the fire department, fire department trustees, boy scout leader, and election judge. Upon retirement, Darold spent his days traveling the country with his wife and making friends wherever he went.

Charlotte and Darold married October 21, 1950 and welcomed four beautiful children into the world: Sue (Michael Franz), Debbie (Michael Evans), Mark Lynn, and Diana (Jeffery Blane). They were also blessed with 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, all who carry fond memories of both Darold and Charlotte with them.
