After graduating high school, Arthur went on to serve his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge in 1953, he went on to a long career as a banker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Patsy Silva Duffel who was born on July 13, 1934 and passed at 50 on October 7, 1984. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Patsy Silva Duffel; grandson, Clint Sweat; and parents, Oscar Duffel and Marcelle Raymond. Arthurs DOB is April 3, 1929 and passed away on January 12, 2024. Together Arthur and Patsy created their legacy. A daughter, Cynthia Smith; son, Raymond Duffel (Vickie); grandchildren, Chad Sweat (Tiffany), Holly Laurent (Beau), Jareth Smith, Michael Smith, Kyle Duffel (Jordan), Collin Duffel, Blaise Kenney, and Bryce Kenney; great grandchildren, CJ Sweat, Madison Sweat, Madelyn Laurent, Aubrey Laurent, Brantley Duffel, Kaleb Duffel, and Kolton Dubois.
