“Love is patient and kind. Love never gives up, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
Life story

Stephanie was born January 8, 1976 to her parents Gail and Stephen Nichols. She married Roger Martin and they had a son, Johnathon Martin. This marriage ended in divorce and she married Dickie Waggoner. They also had a son, Christian Waggoner. They also divorced, but remained friends. She lived in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina with her two sons until her death on March 27, 2015.

Stephanie had been attending Nursing school but was unable to finish. She was one of the most caring people I know and always had a special place in her heart for the elderly. Steph was not afraid of death, and was always the one that would sit with those while they left this world.

Steph and I had the honor of being pregnant at the same time for our sons, Tyler and Johnathon. We ended up giving birth 3 days apart and were able to be there for each others delivery. It was truly special to experience pregnancy with my sister, and give birth with each other present. I will never forget that experience and treasure it always.

Since my sisters death, I have raised my nephews and watched them grow into extraordinary young men. While she has missed birthdays, graduations, and will miss many more events, she will always be present forever.
