Papa

Papa was the most lovable person I have ever met. He never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone. He was loved by so many and impacted so many people. He was the best Husband, father, and the bestest PAPA ever. He was a working man, but he ALWAYS put his family first and had a great work/family balance. Papas family was his pride and joy and it shows and he was known for being a family man. He was a mentor to many. Some of my favorite memories to tell come from our family vacation in Pigeon Forge, Tn. Our family went to Pigeon Forge every year around Christmas time and we shopped together, cook together, make crafts together, go to dinner shows together, and decorate together. Papa loved Christmas and he made sure all his babies had a good Christmas too. He just loved the Christmas lights. Another one of my favorite memories are Sundays with nana and papa. They would take us to Church and we would go eat after and then we would go to Bell Buckle for ice cream if it was a pretty day. Papa never turned down a sweet treat 😉!! We sometimes still go get ice cream and visit with him on Sundays! Papa also loved to tell the story of when I was little I was so convinced we could drive to the moon. He went right along with it and drove around to try and see if we could catch the moon! That didn’t happen but what a great memory for me knowing that you can’t catch the moon in a car but my Papa sure did try! Papa you are so loved and missed! Love Gracie
