Brenda Jean Fuller
Brenda Jean Fuller, 78, passed away on April 19, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family. Brenda was born in Gilroy, CA to Calvin Bill Kelley and Virginia Marcel Thornhill on February 23, 1946. She is the oldest of her parents 4 daughters. Brenda is preceded in death by parents Bill and Virginia Kelley as well as sister Kathy Denver. Brenda found joy in spending cherished moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent as much time with them as possible throughout the years. She had unwavering faith in Jesus Christ that continues to inspire her family.
Best known as Dubby, Gram, Benna and Ma. Brenda was the ultimate to all the kids. She never said no to a game of Ms. Pac Man, Dominoes or Skip-Bo. She was an avid kite flier and she also enjoyed eating vanilla ice cream and drinking Pepsi around the clock. She was a jack-of-all trades, master carpenter and professional gambler. Her Sunday night dinners were always a family favorite. If holding babies were a profession, she’d be a billionaire. TBN, Laurel and Hardy, or Gunsmoke were always on her TV. Her sense of humor was phenomenal. Brenda and her mom were thick as thieves but her daddy was her hero. Family was always first and foremost for her but her animals were a very close second. Poodles Darla Mae and Baby and then later chihuahuas Skinny and King were her world. They were fed home cooked meals same as her family.
Brenda is survived by her two daughters and one son. Kelley Wright (Dave Gill), Denise Strand and Scott Fuller; her five grandchildren, Ashley (Paul) Doty, Priscilla (Sherman) May, Mirissa Wright, and Autumn and Alyssa Fuller; her four great- grandchildren, Paisley Dodson, Reese Hopkins, Jett Barnachia, Lincoln Doty and her sisters, Marsha (Charlie) Johnson and Debbie Phillips along with numerous loving nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the West Side District Cemetery, Taft, CA.
