A remarkable woman

Pst Mrs. Bridget Toyin Adeosun was a remarkable woman whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. She was a devoted mother and a pillar of strength to all who knew her. Her warmth extended beyond her immediate family; I was fortunate to experience her kindness firsthand whenever I visited their home in Adeniran Ogunsanya, Lagos. She welcomed me with open arms, always making me feel like a part of the family. Her care and hospitality left a lasting impression on me, and I will always cherish the memories of the times spent under her nurturing presence. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire all of us who were touched by her life. Wale Salami (Patrick’s college friend) U.S. Army veteran, angel investor and Texas rancher

The kindest and most generous aunt

Auntimi Toyin as we fondly call her was (or, it feels strange to use was for her) that generous aunt that we loved to have around and have visit us too. Our Mother was an only child so, we don’t have siblings of our mother. However, our grandmother nurtured Toyin Ojobaro and one or two other cousins. And these ladies are what me and my sisters have as Aunts. Auntimi Toyin was as close to us as if she had been birthed by our grandmother. She was the kindest most generous of the aunties. I remember when she went off to Nursing school at Awolowo Road, Ikoyi. Whenever she came home to visit, she never came empty handed. Always came home with lots of chocolates and biscuits and all. And she would also take us out to the fun places of the 70s in their days. - Kingsway Stores in Marina to see Father Christmas… Apapa Amusement Park… She also sometimes took us back to her hostel and we would be spoiled by her friends as well. I can’t go past the nurses hostel without thinking of Antimi. If she was busy and did not want to be disturbed, she would tell my sisters and I to go and catch live mosquitoes and that she would give us 1k (k being kobo) for each mosquito. Talk about sending us on wild goose chases! lol. We never caught any mosquitoes. But she would give us a few kobos for our troubles. That was how generous she was. When she moved to ASCON, at Badagry, we loved going to spend our summer holidays there. Because that was where we got to eat the treats and lovely stuff that we were not allowed at home. And sleep late, watching TV. Auntimi Toyin was that fun Aunt that everyone loves to have. She was kind. And generous. And wise. And hardworking. And was a great mother too. She could move heaven and earth for her children - Ope, Eneze and Onipe. A devoted Christian who lived the tenets of Christianity and not just mouthed it, I believe heaven will be glad to have her back home. Antimi Toyin has run her own race. May her soul rest in eternal peace, Amen. -The Ajai Sisters

A fun and loving aunt

Heaven has sure gotten an angel. I remember you teaching me how to cook, how you would always check up on us with huge bags of goodies when we lost our mum. Memories that time can't erase. To lose you brings such sadness but in our hearts you live on. Sleep on sweet angel, I have been blessed to call you aunt. Bukky odumuyiwa

A Worthy and Godly Life

We thank God for the worthy and Godly life that Pst ( Mrs) Adeoshun lived here on Earth. She was a passionate soul winner, cheerful giver and fervent in service in the vineyard of God. Our ever smiling Pastor was always very submissive to authority, available, thorough and hospitable. For her, there is no room to keep malice or begrudge anyone although a strict disciplinarian. I pray that God will bless her family she left behind in Jesus name. -Pst Olaoluwa E. Ale-Daniel.

A Tribute to a Woman of God.

2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” Matthew 11: 28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” A great woman whose deeds in faith and love will continually be a pillar of strength for all saints, a perfect pattern that will draw and guide more souls for the kingdom of GOD. She led many to love the LORD, to follow His will with reverence and Godly fear. She planted trees of righteousness that give glory to HIS name day and night. Till we see at the resurrection morning! Big Sister

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Rev. 21:4) I looked for what to say, l cannot find. I looked for what to write, my pen fails me. Then l remember the Hymn writer that says " it is well with my soul". On this account, l say "it is well! It is well! and It is well! Good night my big sister. Omo Ojobaro.

A Tribute to Pastor and a Humanitarian Woman

Today, we gather to celebrate the incredible life and lasting impact of a truly special woman whose spirit embodied compassion and kindness. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to an exceptional individual, a humanitarian who touched countless lives and whose legacy will forever inspire generations to come. In a world often overshadowed by darkness, this remarkable woman tirelessly dedicated her life to bring light, hope, and love to those in need. Apart from being a pastor, She had an unyielding belief in the power of compassion, understanding that even the smallest acts of kindness could make an enormous difference in the lives of others. Her genuine empathy knew no bounds, reaching across borders, transcending cultural differences, and bridging gaps that few dared to cross. With every gentle touch, every warm smile, and every word of encouragement, she breathed life into those who had lost hope and uplifted those who had forgotten the beauty and resilience within them. Her efforts were not confined to material aid alone, for she recognized that true transformation lay in empowering individuals to rise above their circumstances, to reclaim their dignity, and to forge a path towards a brighter future. As we gather in solemn remembrance today, let us honor her legacy and the profound lessons she imparted upon us. May we take up her torch of selflessness, spreading compassion and kindness in even the smallest acts. Let her indomitable spirit continue to guide us as we work towards a world where every human being can live with dignity and security. Though she may have departed from this physical realm, her message of love and service lives on. Her work, her passion, and her example will forever be etched in the hearts and minds of those she touched. We may mourn her loss, but we must also celebrate the immense impact she had during her time with us. Today, we bid farewell to a brilliant soul who dedicated her life to uplifting others – a true humanitarian. Let us carry forward her legacy, continuing the noble journey she embarked upon, spreading her light, and healing the world one act of kindness at a time. Rest in eternal peace, dear friend, as your legacy lives on in the countless lives you have forever changed. We will forever cherish the memories we shared and honor your remarkable contributions. God's General Gone Home

TRIBUTE ( Pst Mrs Toyin Adeoshun ) GOD'S GENERAL GONE HOME. 2Cor 12:15--Apostle Paul said; I will very gladly spend and be spent for the church of Jesus Christ. Mummy Adeoshun did exactly what apostle Paul said in 2Cor12:15, she very gladly spend and was spent for the church of Jesus Christ. We will never forget the memories we shared at every medical outreach we went together--- her humility, sacrifice, generosity ( provision of vehicles for our transportation--her son Patrick became our driver, she will cooked food specially for medical team, baked bread for us, etc ) and her act of service can not be overemphasised. As a retired matron, she was not tired but did medical consultations and treat patients with doctors. However, "A heart of gold stopped beating, working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to proof to us that He only takes the best. Leaves and flowers may wither, the golden sun may set, but the hearts that loved you dearly, are the ones that won't forget." The "General" herself as we fondly call you because you are a "General" in chaplaincy army. Now we all know you are a successful God's general---Praise! Praise!! Praise ye the Lord! Ha ha hallelujah! The heavenly God who is awesomely faithful will surely see your children and your children's children through and together we shall make heaven to see you in glory with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen. Mummy Adeoshun, your smiles are highly infectious, continue to smile in glory throughout eternity. Till we meet to part no more, rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. A Precious Gift of God

TRIBUTE TO PASTOR (MRS) OLUWATOYIN ADEOSHUN. You were a precious gift from God, so much beauty, grace, love and patience you possessed. You touched our heart in so many ways within the short time we came to know each other. Your passing to glory is like a dream but we believe God knows and we take solace in the Lord that “ Our time is in His hand” He decides when we come and when we leave. Rev.14:13. ”And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.“ Even though you are not here with us in the flesh, we still have you in our hearts and in our memories. Rest in your Lord till we meet and never part again. PASTOR/PASTOR MRS. AKANDE S. E.

An Impactful Life of Service to God and Humanity

Pastor(Mrs) Toyin Adeoshun-A tribute We appreciate this opportunity to write about the life and times of our beloved Mrs Adeoshun who was called to glory after an impactful life of service to God and humanity. As a co-laborer in God’s vineyard, she worked in various capacities as a genuine minister of God in the Mission As Pastor in-charge of Zone 6 in Lagos Province 36, the last ministerial position she held before her statutory retirement from the services of the Mission, she served with an uncommon diligence commitment, integrity and humility.
