Life story

Keagan was born in Red Deer AB to Shannon & Chris Evans. Baby brother to Logan Evans. Keagan was a wonderful baby who grew into a wild child then a sensitive, thoughtful and funny teenager. He was diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer when he was 16. Keagan faced his cancer head on. He never wanted anyone to pity him and didn’t ever utter the words I can’t even though he had lost use of his dominant right hand. Keagan continued to drive his beloved truck, became a snowboard instructor, graduated highschool and lived every single day to the fullest. The only time Keags would use his cancer diagnosis was when it allowed him to use the motorized carts in the stores. Keagan grew up playing hockey, lacrosse, racing cars on the dirt track, motorbiking and golfing. He loved animals, his family & friends and going fast. He was so funny and had a laugh & smile that was so contagious. Keagan’s life may have been cut short but he lived it to the fullest. To be loved by Keagan meant you had a life long best friend, protector and yes guy, he was always ready to have a good time. He was so easy going & made friends wherever he went. He was a cherished member of a large family he was born into and who were a chosen family. Keagan is so greatly missed but as his family we are so grateful for his friends who keep his legacy & memory going.
