Dale Edward Myers
Dale passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from injuries sustained in a dirt biking accident. He was born and raised in Pleasanton and graduated from Amador Valley High School in 1991. Dale was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, camping, hunting and dirt biking. His passion was for NASCAR and his driver, Jeff Gordon #24. For the last 15 years, Dale and his dad spent a weekend in Las Vegas enjoying the races. His love for trucks started as a child in the sandbox and continued with him throughout his life. He started his career driving tow truck for R Lance & Sons. He then moved on to United Rentals as a transport driver and eventually became a sales representative with them. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Sunbelt Rentals as one of their top sales reps. He was well respected in his field and made many lifelong friends. He is survived by his wife Robin, daughter Natalie, mother Joan Miller, father and step-mom Duane and Doreen Myers, brother Steve (Kim & Ashley). Also his step-brothers and sisters, Julie and Sheri Lagorio, Bobby and Richard Miller and Beth (Keith) Hamilton. Dale also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Building, 301 Main Street Pleasanton, California 94566. Private interment will be at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
