Remembering The Life of Our Donté
On Tuesday, November 9, 1999 God graced us with Donté Blair Devore. Donté, affectionately known as "Butter" to closest friends and family, was born in Wichita, Kansas and is the youngest of five living siblings. Donté is preceded in death by grandparents, Wilbur and Dorothy Devore, Wilbert Hutton Sr., Earnest White, Great-Grandmother, Minnie B. Gibson, Uncle Danny Olmsted of Cheney, KS, Aunt Margo of Belle Plaine, KS, and brother Brandon Marquez Hutton.
Donté was born and raised in Wichita and attended Adams Elementary, Seltzer Elementary, Christa McAuliffe Academy, Curtis Middle School, and attended Southeast High School and Chester Lewis Academy. Donté was not only full of life, he enjoyed life. He was known for making people laugh, singing, dancing, drawing, his love of basketball and children. Kids and people of all ages were drawn to Donté. He never met a stranger!
Donté leaves to cherish his memory: (Father) Don Devore, (Mother) Terri L. Hutton, (Siblings) Brienna Hutton, Brittany (Dajuan) Smith, Devon Hutton, and Sivea Devore. (Nephew and Nieces) Naomi Harris, Najay Harris, and Noelle Harris. (Grandmother) Janice White, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and a host of family and friends.
Donté will be remembered as a fun-loving, energetic, free-spirited teenager with a smile that warmed your heart. On February 11, 2018, Donté left this world but he did not leave our hearts. And while we all have already begun to miss (and will continue to miss) him, the truth is, Donté will never be forgotten. #AlwaysInOurHearts #DonniesWorld 💙
