When Eleanor Hill was born on 31 August 1928, in Ogden, Utah, she was the 2nd of the 4 children of Henry Vernon Hill and Vallecita Johansen. She married Merrill Jenkins on 4 February 1949, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were the parents of 4 daughters and 2 sons. She died on 2 May 2014, in Plain City, Utah, at the age of 85.
