Another Baby to Call Him Uncle L

Today we went to visit my brother, and I brought the kids with me. I talked about Hunter Jr. and how my brother would be an uncle to another little baby now. He always loved being an uncle and thought it was the coolest thing that he got to become one so young. I know he would have loved getting to meet Hunter Jr. and watching both of my kids grow up. I really wish they could have known him the way I did. I’ll always make sure they know who their uncle L was, how much he loved being an uncle, and how loved he still is. ❤️

You will always be a part of Church Camp!

As I head to go pick up some amazing young people from church camp and deliver them back home to their parents I stopped to put out your new vases and let you know, as long as there is breath in my lungs and I’m physically and financially able you will be a part of your favorite thing on this earth, church camp! It’s a beautiful day!

It’s a beautiful day as I continue to celebrate your birthday month without you! There are so so many things I miss about you, but truly I just miss YOU! I would give anything to have you here just to be mad at me! Even if you were so mad that you didn’t want to speak to me it would be worth it to just see you in 3D one more time! You are so loved and so missed. I know im being quite selfish today, but some days I just can’t help it! I love you most, you are my favorite! 💜

I always miss you, but….

Days like today are especially hard. Not only is it Mother’s Day, but it’s also the kinda of day we would snuggle up on the couch together, fight over my favorite blanket and have a Harry Potter movie marathon. Nobody can snuggle quite as good as you could! I miss you my sweet boy and I can’t wait to see you again! 💙💜💙

Birthday month #2

As my second birthday month without you comes to a close! I stopped by and picked out a Lego set to add to your collection in your bedroom! It’s Sonic and it is just a little something to help remind me how fast I wish I was so I could be with you again! I cannot wait until the day I get to see your face again! Momma loves and misses you way to heaven and way back! Here are a few of our adventures I have enjoyed looking back on this month! I especially miss the Lego birthday month gifts you would give me! 💜💜

Visiting Lasten

My Facebook feed has started being filled with reels of people building Lego. I have found myself watching them all and deciding if Lasten would like that kit they are building to build or not. Funny, I haven’t seen one set that I have thought, “Nah, he wouldn’t have wanted to build that one.” 🤣🥰 We miss him, but don’t wish him back. ❤️

Mission: Minion Rescue

Mom said “not right now,” but that didn’t stop him! While we were talking to Mom, Lasten snuck outside, unplugged the giant Minion, dragged it inside, and plugged it back in like a little superhero. Not the safest move — but definitely one of the funniest memories ever!

My memories of Lasten are precious to me and one of my favorites happened during covid. We set up the toilet to look like it was smoking to trick Uncle Brad and it worked! LOL
