My very best friend
My son is still my very best friend. We went through so much together. But our constant was each other. Our love as a mom and a son Never Weavered. We supported each other no matter what. And with the life of ups and downs we grow each as our own person. My Michael my son I only had but 1 chance to get it right. And as Michael grew up and went off to school I would cry and wipe the tears away. And if I was off work in the winter I would pray for those snow days to happen. I loved spending time with my son. We got through all the school years and graduation. I even went with him to sign my name on the dotted line for the Marine Corp and we were so proud of each other going through the process supporting each other. Little did I know by 9pm the required was in my drive taking my son away to give 100% to his country. it was rough getting very few letters but my faith in the good Lord above was ever so near to me. My Michael had served his time in the Marines and was coming home. I was so excited. He had his life on the straight and was going to Northern University in Lima Ohio. He loved it but on the night of Feb 1, 2012 My Michael was hit and killed by a drunk driver. In just a split second his life was taken.
