Life story

Cory Rodger Beebe, age 44, of Milford, Utah, passed away on February 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer as well as additional recent health issues that ultimately took his life.

Cory was born on February 18, 1980, in Milford, Utah, to Pierre “Pete” and Lauri Kinross Beebe. He graduated from Milford High School in 1998 and later pursued college courses. Cory also earned numerous certifications, demonstrating his passion for learning and becoming knowledgeable in a variety of areas.

Cory spent the rest of his life dedicated to the town in so many ways. Corys impact and love for his community was immense. He was a valued member and also served as the Vice President of the Milford Lions Club for 10 years, as well as played a pivotal role in the success of the Payton Higgins Memorial Baseball Tournament, dedicating countless hours to field maintenance, tournament organization, and coaching. Cory also served as the City's Recreation Director, leaving a lasting impact on countless children throughout Milford and the surrounding region. Cory was always willing to help within the community, from coaching various youth programs, volunteering his time, and just being able to show his appreciation to Milford as a whole.

Cory worked as the Beaver County Road Supervisor since January 2009, a position he held with pride. He was a dedicated, hardworking man who not only took great care in his job but also forged many meaningful friendships along the way from his crew, other county workers across the state, and with so many different sales reps and companies. Cory was always making sure the roads were up to perfection, and he was a strong advocate for all his crew in the ways that he could.

Although Cory loved his community and his work, that love couldn’t quite compare to the deep love he had for his family. Cory was blessed with three beautiful children—Bret, Justen, and Stahley—before meeting the love of his life, Kaylee Jo Beebe, in 2013. They married on June 25, 2017, and Cory gained another daughter, Stetlee, who completed their family. Cory was always making sure he put his family first and was dedicated to making long-lasting memories by always hosting game nights, having gingerbread house competitions, waking up the kids Christmas morning before they were even awake, and just doing the little things to see his family happy. Cory had a very contagious laugh and was usually found antagonizing his nieces and nephews by giving them nicknames or giving them a hard time, but he made sure he was always present to support them and let them know that he loved them.

Cory enjoyed spending his free time on the golf course, ensuring he attended all his children’s sporting events and making sure they knew he was in the stands, was always first to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need, spending time camping and being the best camp cook, going boating at Lake Powell, and, above all, cherishing moments with his family and creating all the memories he could. Cory was a dedicated friend to all who knew him, and he always made sure those around him felt loved and appreciated.

In July of 2017, Cory was diagnosed with Plasma Cell Multiple Myeloma, and throughout his battle with cancer, going through an autologous stem cell transplant, and all of his treatments, Cory never hung his head at his diagnosis. He faced each day with a positive attitude and outlook on life. This outlook formed the #livelikecory vision and encouraged everyone around him to view life with the same love and dedication to give to others, love your family without hesitation, and be truly

Cory is survived by his wife, Kaylee Jo Beebe; his children, Bret, Justen, Stahley, and Stetlee; his parents, Pete and Lauri Beebe; his sister, Brittany (Sean) Sherwood; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Kinross; his grandmother, Charmaine Atwell; his uncle, Kenneth Vetsch; and other great-grandparents.
