Remembering my grandfather

My grandfather, Arthur Bejarano was always very dedicated to his craft. Whether graduating from ASU, or being a musician performing with his band for events in the Miami/Globe area, he was always at his best when raising the legacy of his successful family with his wife Margaret Bejarano. As one of his many surviving grandkids, I remember him always wanting his family nearest to him. Anytime you would come to visit you would be met with love, smiles, and laughter. He would always argue that he didn’t see you enough and heckle you when it was time to leave. He absolutely loved having company over. Some of my fondest memories of my grandpa was him taking me down to the Country Club to play a quick nine before we got back to his house for dinner. There he would always buy me a jerky stick and soda. Then say to me, “Don’t tell your grandmother.” He lived most of his days in Wheatfields, Arizona where him and his brothers built their houses and raised their families. He touched many lives and served his community by teaching, coaching, and running the business part of his brother’s family practice and pharmacy. Happy Father’s Day to one of the best- Marcus Bejarano
