So many memories from when we were younger. I wish I could find the pics from back in the day. Always hanging out at her parent’s house in Jr High & Freshman year. Sneaking cigarettes. Walking around “Buck Town”. Listening to Poison, Metallica, Skid Row, all the Hair Bands ! she had the most fabulous 80’s hair ! Always jealous of how high she could tease her hair up 🥰. Metallica was our favorite. She was the only other girl who would rock out with me 🤘🏻 to Metallica. We were both sorta “tom boys”. We grew apart over the years but never forgot each other. Not really apart - just had kids and life happened. She always had a big hug for me when we did see each other. Shelly tried to get me to go to church with her for years. I never did and I regret it. I wish I could have spent more time with her. I will forever be grateful for my friendship with Shelly and I will never forget her.
