In Loving Memory of the BEST Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Counsin, Nephew and Friend.
Richard Francis Molto
This will be the year that the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup!
Richard Francis Molto was born on March 18th, 1958 to Helen and Leo Molto. Richard was the third oldest out of six children. Richard had four children; Darrell Molto (Angie Joyce), Shana-Leigh Molto (Joshua Slack), Gordon Molto, and Irene Molto-Loughrey (Paul Loughrey). He adopted his sister Gail's (predeceased) five children; Shane Molto, Stephanie Hinds-Molto, Casey Molto (Reg Spring), Rebecca Molto (Brendon Terry), and Danielle Molto (Tom Sword). Between all nine children Richard is a proud Grandfather of 13 grandchildren (Dominique, Sayla, Aiden, Taliyah, Owen, Rowan, Avery, Nathan, Mia, Nadia, King, Calyse, Vida, and 4 fur babies (Horatio, Simba, Boo, Rukas). As a single father, Richard did his best and worked hard to provide for his family. He worked over 30 years for 100 Wellesley as a engineer and superintendent, did other part-time jobs such as on-call superintendent for other apartment buildings, moving people, painting and most of all his favourite-scraping! Richard was the kind of person to help anyone in need. Other than his big heart and kindness people loved Richard's sarcasm and inappropriate humor. Richard was a HUGE fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Richard was 9 years old when the Leafs won their last Stanley Cup and has been so ever patient to see them win again! Richard was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in Dec 2021. Richard was a fighter right up to the very end! We are so proud of him and are grateful to have had him be apart of our lives.
