Mom
I love and miss Mom. ❤️
Corinne was born on Christmas Day, 1948. Raised in Walnut, IL, the second oldest of 4 girls and 1 boy.
She attended a 1-room schoolhouse her entire childhood.
She married Eddie Hernandez July 5th, 1968. He preceded her in death in 1981. Eddie & Corinne had 3 amazing children together, a boy & 2 girls, who were the apple of her eye.
She married Joe Olalde August 28th, 1986 and inherited 4 bonus daughters.
Corinne was the quintessential family woman. She loved her family more than anything, and took pride in being a Godmother to her Godchildren as well.
She was the Grandma of all Grandma's, and her grandchildren were her entire world and could do absolutely no wrong in her eyes. The fact that she was able to meet all her grandchildren was a miracle of itself. After suffering a heart attack in her 40's, and being put on the list for a transplant, she rallied and surpassed all expectations. With a strong faith in God and a strong spirit, she never did get the transplant and lived over 30 more years, sometimes surprising everyone with the energy and vigor she approached each day with. Her presence is sorely missed, but she left a blueprint with which those of us left behind strive to model our lives after.
