Dads 64th birthday
Dad, today we celebrate you! We ate brownies and ice cream in honor of you. Love and miss you daily!
Doug was the life of the party. He wanted to have a good time and make sure that you did too. He truly lived by the saying “laughter is the best medicine” even if it was at your expense. He never met a stranger.
He was good at embarrassing his children, sometimes by singing, other times by dancing, or even by doing his gangster walk.
He didn’t let things bother him- he would always say “let it go”.
He was a supportive “papaw” to his 10 grandchildren. He was the loudest fan at their sporting events and when it was over he would invite everyone for ice cream- his treat of course.
He was a hard worker. If something was too hard, call him and he would figure it out.
He was the proud owner of a Chevy truck and John Deere tractor. Only Plochman’s brand mustard and Pepsi products were allowed in his refrigerator. He enjoyed raising cattle- but the black ones were his favorite.
