Natalie Donohoe, daughter of Joe and Bev Donohoe, was born in Charleston, West Virginia.

She lived the majority of her life in Indianapolis, Indiana before enjoying an early retirement with her husband, Jim Hart, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Natalie was an educator and business woman by trade but found her passion in giving, serving and making a difference in her communities. She was one of the original founders of Food4Souls in Indianapolis, Indiana serving the homeless population. She was heavily involved in Heartland Church where she participated in a divorce care ministry and helped to grow a satellite location. In Michigan, she worked with the Mosiac Church of Detroit to clothe and equip households of families in need.

Natalie was petite but mighty, overcoming life’s challenges with grace and never a complaint. She had a smile that beamed bright. She was fun and silly and could laugh easily at herself. Her joy was contagious. Natalie loved to host and bring the family together for great meals and celebrations. She was an avid reader and would readily equip anyone with a book (period 😆) to share her passion for reading. She loved the theatre and created a “Wicked” passion in several of us for the same. Natalie loved to travel, and traveled the world. The beach was her sanctuary and where she was eventually laid to rest. Natalie was a faithful servant and follower of her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Natalie was diagnosed with brain cancer, an aggressive form of Glioblastoma, in Aug, 2021 and sadly passed 10 months later. She was not scared because in her words, she had “lived a beautiful life and knew Heaven awaited”, but in her typical Natalie-esque fashion, she spent her final days worried about her loved ones left behind.

She is dearly missed and survived by her parents, Bev and Joe Donohoe, her husband Jim Hart of Fort Myers, Florida and her siblings: Joey Bishop (Indianapolis, In), Kim Burgess (Columbus, In), Vince Donohoe (Shelbyville, In), Tom Donohoe (Indianapolis, In) and Pam Donohoe-Duncan (Columbus, In), her Stepdaughter, God-Children, Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, Friends and Family.

We were blessed for the time we had but it was not nearly enough 😚.
