Sthep’s first time drinking Red Bull

Back is the summer of 2010, Steph was visiting Cuba with Maggie and my Dad, as an only child, I used to cherish every time Steph was there because having her there it made me feel like I had a sister. We used to do everything together, take long walks around the neighborhood and play with our cousins. One day we went to a big supermarket and we were both begging Maggie and my Dad for them to buy a Red Bull for us. Steph had told that it was an energy drink and that it could give us wings 🪽. After being really annoying they let us share one. When we got to my granpa’s house excitingly we drank that Red Bull. Instead of giving us wings it sent us right to bed. I remember we fall as sleep in my grandpa’s bed. IT WAS THE FIRST RED BULL WE EVER HAD. To this day I work for the company where I sell the same Red Bull. Im so happy to remember my sister every day, and when I drink on I often travel back to that same day. This can in the picture is buried with her. IM PROUD THAT THE FIRST TIME I HAD A RED BULL, IT WAS ALSO HER FIRST TIME. I love you Steph. YOU LITERALLY GOT WIINGS. I love you our angel. See you in heaven!!!!

kiki and sugar forever

My sister, you weren’t just family, but a part of my heart. The bond we shared was unlike any other one built on laughter, secrets, and love. Though you are no longer with me in the way I wish you were, your spirit remains forever a part of who I am. I find pieces of you in the small moments, the memories we created, and in the lessons you left behind. Your kindness, strength, and light touched everyone you met, and I will carry your love with me always. It’s hard to imagine a world without you, but I know you are with me in every step I take. I feel incredibly grateful for the time we had. All the memories you and I created. I miss you more than words can ever express. Not a day goes by without thinking of you. your laughter, your advice, the way you always knew how to make everything feel just a little bit brighter. I still find myself reaching for the phone to tell you something, only to remember you’re not there. There’s a hole in my heart that no one else can fill. & no one will ever. I wish I could hear your voice again, share those moments we took for granted, and just feel your presence beside me. But even though you're gone, I carry you with me in everything I do. You’re never far from my thoughts, and you never will be. I promise to live in a way that would make you proud, keeping your memory alive in my heart every single day. Until we meet again, I love you always. Kiki & Sugar forever.

Today as I jump into a new year, I look back to what I lost and I ask myself if my life will be the same without what I lost this year. Losing Her was a life changing event, something that changes your whole perspective, I learn that I we need to love and cherish what we have. Don’t wait to say I LOVE YOU, It could be too late. Steph was light in this family, she was always happy and with a big smile in her face, not to mention her beauty . As kids we had many adventures together, I cherish those memories and I hold on to those feelings. Lately life circumstances pulled us apart, but that love was always there, that sibling irreplaceable love that no bad or good circumstances can take away. I pray for Steph peaceful and eternal rest, we lost a beautiful soul.I will never forget you my beautiful hermana gringa. I share some of my memories with Steph of our times together.
