In Loving Memory of Reverend Ari Prado
October 21, 1978 - October 29, 2023
Resident of Alameda, CA
On October 29, 2023, at 10:07 PM, Reverend Ari Prado (45) received his change and entered into the arms of His Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ari was born on October 21, 1978, to parents Valdemar Prado and Laura Alexandre in Berkeley, CA. He shared a deep connection with his sister, Raji Prado-Hoffmann, and was preceded in death by Erandi Prado.
Ari was a multifaceted artist and creative. He was part of a prolific Redwood City music group that created, produced, and distributed several albums. During his teenage years, his art adorned the streets of the Peninsula. The Academy of Art in San Francisco offered him a full scholarship, where he attended briefly.
However, at the young age of 18, Ari Prado found Jesus, and it transformed his life. Shortly after, he felt the call to ministry and chose to pursue it over an art career. In January 2000, he received his ordination as a minister of the gospel.
On July 7, 2007, Ari married his love, Jaimee. Ayla was born on January 29, 2011, and she happily joined them on the evangelistic field. Ayla has her Papa's creativity and his love for the Word. Together, they would journal the Bible in sketches. On October 10, 2015, Nora Elise was born. She shares her Papa's fire and deep sensitivity to God's voice. Her birth coincided with the beginnings of East Bay Bible Fellowship.
In 2015, Reverend Prado founded East Bay Bible Fellowship, a thriving church in Alameda. He shepherded the church the way he lived his lifeintentional, prayerful, and with reverence for God's Word. He gently restored and equipped God's people so they had the courage to do His will.
Reverend Prado's ministry spans over the nation and the world, where he delivered inspiring messages to tens of thousands of people in both English and Spanish. He also authored a Christian Development series titled 'Foundations.' Additionally, he authored, illustrated, and published a Bible Study known as 'Learn Scripture.' These teachings have enriched the lives of many across America. He was a featured speaker at conferences such as Summit, PEAK, Arkansas International Camp Meeting, East Coast Conference, MidAmerica Conference, SoCal Conference, and WPF Conferences, leaving a lasting impact with messages like 'Defying the Decadence,' 'Until my Change Comes,' 'A Mother's Covering,' and 'Winning the War Behind Closed Doors."
Reverend Ari Prado's investment in ministries and ministers was unparalleled. He expended his time, talent, and treasure to advance the Kingdom. His friendship was unwavering, and his counsel was infused with prayer. His influence will leave a lasting impact for future generations.
Reverend Prado's legacy will be forever cherished by his devoted wife, Jaimee Prado, his loving children, Ayla Noor and Nora Elise; his parents, Valdemar Prado and Laura Alexandre, his in-laws, Rudy and Linda Herras; and his siblings and in-laws, Raji Hoffmann, Jesse and Lynna Willoughby, Leah Herras, Ryan and Annette Herras. He also leaves nieces and nephews, including Luke Herras, Henry Hoffmann, Ellie Herras, Kyra Herras, Olivia Willoughby, Bennett Willoughby, and Levi Willoughby.
