Jo Ellen "Jody" Stumler, passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, August 12, 2023. She was born on August 1, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Pat and Joyce Nicholson.
Jo loved to travel the world and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved spending time in Arizona when they owned several condos there. They also spent many summers on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky where they had houseboats.
She NEVER missed an episode of the Young and the Restless, which she referred to as "my story". She was a passionate fan of Kentucky Basketball and attended multiple NCAA Final Fours.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Stumler; children, Lori Kraemer (Steven), Lisa Lynch (Dennis), Patrick Stumler (Kari); grandchildren, Conner Lynch, Sophia Lynch, Lola Lynch, Benjamin Stumler, Lukas Kraemer, Oliver Stumler; great grandchildren, Kynleigh, Theodore, Walker, and soon to be born, Anderson. She was preceeded in death by her parents and her brother, Darry.

New Years Day 2026
Came here to say I love you and miss you so much Mom. This is the 3rd new year we moved to since you left and it just feels like we are moving further away from our last meeting, yet steps closer to being together again.
