Jorge Arturo Gonzalez
Family always came first especially my daughter Briana ❤️😘. Daddy loved you baby girl!
Jorge Arturo Gonzalez, beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, partner, and most importantly, a devoted father, passed away on February 10, 2012, at the age of 28. Born on December 21, 1983, in Mexico, Jorge was the fifth of eleven siblings. He was a light in the lives of his family and friends and the second sibling to be welcomed into heaven. Jorge’s untimely departure leaves a deep void, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him, especially his cherished daughter, Briana Gonzalez.
Jorge's journey began in Mexico, where he spent his early childhood and some teenage years before permanently moving with his family to South Central Los Angeles. He attended 75th Street Elementary, followed by Bethune Middle School, and later John C. Fremont High School. His time in South LA deeply influenced him, and he became actively involved in his community, always seeking to help others and make a positive impact on the lives of those around him.
Known for his kindness, humor, and generosity, Jorge was the person who always put others before himself. His infectious laugh, warm heart, and unwavering support for his loved ones made him unforgettable. He was a natural protector, always looking out for his family and friends, and his understanding and caring nature touched everyone he met.
Jorge was preceded in death by everyone that loved him dearly, and while we mourn his passing, we also find comfort in the legacy he left behind. His daughter, Briana, who will carry forward the love, lessons, and laughter that Jorge so freely shared with those around him. We will continue to honor his memory by reminding Briana daily of the immense love her father had for her.
Jorge is survived by his mother, Maria Gonzalez; father, Jose Gonzalez; and his ten siblings, as well as numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends who considered him family. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will remain alive in the hearts of everyone he touched.
Jorge’s life may have been brief, but it was filled with love, laughter, and selflessness. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Rest in peace, Jorge Arturo Gonzalez. You will forever be loved and remembered.
