Whatever it takes.
Life story

Pete Serrano had a motto: "Whatever it Takes." This motto was a visible product of his upbringing, as Pete's family instilled in him a determined desire to live the American Dream. Pete often said that all he ever wanted in life was a house with a backyard that had grass so lush that he could walk barefoot in it. Through his intellect, his hard work, and the extraordinary support of his family, Pete accomplished this dream in his short life.

Pete was survived by his fiancée, Alysia Córdova of Amarillo; his parents, Carlos and Maria Serrano; his grandparents, Martha and Pedro Marrero and Pedro Serrano; a brother, Carlos Serrano; two sisters, Rosa Ronquillo and Yvette Serrano; a niece, Kyra; nephews, Brandon and Pete all of Odessa.

On the fifteenth anniversary of his death, we're setting up this page to celebrate his life and share our memories of him.

Miss you

15 years 💔💔 I can’t believe it’s been 15 years without you little brother. They say time heals but for me it’s a constant reminder that you are not here. We were suppose to grow old together and support each other, I was suppose to watch you and Alysia live y’all’s life together and have kids.. I can’t believe I will never get to see that 😪😪. I vow to always be with you on This day (July 19) so you won’t be alone. My heart hurts everyday for you little brother, but I know you are watching over the family.. I truly miss you and love you.. 15 years without you…

I don’t think you’d be surprised just how much your absence still impacts those who knew and loved you. I only hope this page opens up a space for us to come share our memories and grief. I’ve been at a loss for words this week just know you’re still (and will always be) very missed. P.s. Say hello to Mike Leach for me 👆🏽
