Olivia Gracie Green

Olivia was a beautiful 15 year old little girl..She was born on Dec 21st, the winter solstice..Because her last name was Green and she was born on the 1st day of winter, I wanted to name her Winter Green..I loved the name and found it perfect for her but her father was no too keen on the name lol..So we named her Olivia, named after the block (Oliver Ave) she was born and grew up on..As she grew older I told her the story of me wanting to name her Winter and the story behind it, she absolutely loved the story and said "Mom,when I turn 16 I'm going to convince Dad to let me change my name to Winter Olivia Green"..And that was the plan...Unfortunately tragedy struck a little over three months after Olivia turning 15..I got a call from the hospital asking me to rush to the hospital immediately..They would not share the details with me over the phone, I rushed there within minutes...Upon my arrival several Doctors and security approached me, all with sadness written all over their faces and heads held low...It was a sight that I had only seen in movies before...Before entering the hospital I had only assumed Olivia hurt herself somehow and maybe had a broken arm or something less serious..The faces on the Drs put complete fear into me knowing this was more serious than I had expected ..Then the words "I'm sorry, we tried everything " came out of one of the Dr's mouth..I instantly collapsed to my knees with screams that echoed through all the hallways...I could not get any words out that made any sense, the pain in my heart was unbearable and I was certain that my death would soon follow..I needed to try and call my family to tell them the devastating news of Olivia before I myself collapse from a broken heart and die right where I stood ..Olivia had been poisoned to death like a rat..Fed poison until she took her last breath in front of the person who gave her the lethal poison...A beautiful, intelligent little girls life was cut short and stolen from her...She had a dream of becoming a Marine Biologist ..She was also into crime,

and forensics and wanting to be a voice for those deserving of justice but had never received it because of the color of their skin .She wanted to be a Marine Biologist because of her love of nature, Marine life and become a detective of the natural systems and oceans and the life within them..But who knows, Olivia might have also become a voice for the voiceless, a detective in the earthly world bringing justice to those who did not receive justice based on the color of their skin..Either way Olivia would have been powerful, for both those ot us living in the earthly realm and for the lifeforms living in the realm of the oceans below...Sadly her dreams were cut short and robbed from her..We will always remember Olivia Gracie Green...Born on the 1st day of Winter and died on Easter 4/4 at 4 o'clock. 444 ..We miss you, in your short life you left a lasting impact on the hearts of many...You were loved immensely and deeply missed beyond measure..Long Live Olivia..Only gone in the physical sense, but always with us in spirit..444
