Horacio Bernabe
"Que fue" "Starving here!!!" "K!? Kayyyy!" "Ábrete como las granadas" "Thought I wasn't" "Yeah uh huh" "El Wednesday te pago fag"
Horacio Bernabe, also known as Max or "La Max Internacional," was born on February 4, 1967, to Alicia Najar and Guillermo Bernabe in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. As a young child, his parents brought him to the United States, specifically to Los Angeles, where he began school and later graduated from Thomas Jefferson Senior High in 1985. He met his wife, Maria, in California in the 1990s, and they had their first child in 1992, followed by their second in 1994. After welcoming their third child in 1996, they relocated to Ogden, Utah, around the year 2000. In 2002, they welcomed their fourth child, and in 2003, their fifth child was born. In 2012, he opened his own towing company called 'Max Towing.' He found great enjoyment in his line of work. Handball was one of his passions, and he excelled at it. He had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Spending time with his family brought him immense joy, and seeing them happy filled his heart. Max was a remarkable individual with a unique personality. He was always cracking jokes, making up funny lyrics to songs, coming up with random sayings and nicknames for everyone, and generally maintaining a good demeanor. He was also a father not only to his children but to many others. Max loved bumping his favorite music by Rigo Tovar, Vicente Fernández, ABBA, Mike Laure, & specifically "Spring Love" by Stevie B. to name a few. He was always just one call away to help anyone in need. In 2020, he was diagnosed with cancer and only lived a very short while after. This has been a great loss to our family, but he still lives through each and every one of us!
