Bruce Benham

Bruce Benham of Odessa passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the age of 69.

Bruce was born in Odessa, Texas, to Farris & Olene Benham on August 19, 1954. He married Linda (Ripley) Benham on August 28, 1975.

His memory will live on in the lives of his wife, Linda; children, Deidra & Geoff Lucke of Mansfield, Daniel & Megan Benham of Odessa; and his grandson, Cade Lucke of Mansfield. He is also survived by his siblings, Stan & Vicki Benham of Odessa, TX, Ron & Debbie Acton of El Paso, TX, Patty & Jerry Needham of Atlanta, GA; his in-laws, Marina & James Ripley, Marcia & Robin Bouchard, & Ted Ripley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bruce is preceeded in death by his mother, Olene; and father, Farris.

Bruce was a devoted husband, loving father, and stead-fast friend. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman with an exciting sense of adventure. His fierce passion for knowledge resulted in a life full of reading, learning, & exploring the mysteries of the world. Bruce shared his love of traveling with his family and friends through endless excursions across the country. His music collection and jam sessions speak to his lifelong appreciation for classic rock. Family and friends can attest to Bruce’s love for storytelling, laughs, and gatherings. He was a great believer in making fond memories as often as possible.
