Life story

We will never find another person like Matthew Nielsen in this lifetime. Not because of his infectious laugh, quick-witted humor, or friendly smile. Instead, because I have never known someone so willing to give more than they have with a smile on their face to anyone that needs it. Because I have never known anybody else able to fall down, and have so much motivation and determination to pick themselves back up. I have never known someone so able to find the excitment in every moment, and truly know the meaning of living life to the fullest.

An old man in a wheel chair couldnt ride the bus because there was no ramp for him to wheel up onto. Matt asked another guy for help, and together they lifted the wheelchair with the man in it onto the bus. Thats the type of man he was.

He would get invited to parties, or sporting events and would turn them down because he was seeing me that weekend. He wouldnt give up a single second of our time together. Thats the type of father he was.

He taught me to live with a kind heart. He showed me what it looks like to have faith, even when things get really hard. Most importantly he taught me to value family like he did, and never take life for granted but always live it to the fullest.
