Life story

Kaleiah Iviana Jones, affectionately known as “Moe” came into

the world on January 3, 2008, in Lancaster

California. Kaleiah is the second-born daughter

of Keyonna Stewart and the first child of her

father, Leroy Jones. She was also lovingly raised

by her step- father, David Frederic. On top of

being a devoted daughter, Kaleiah was a devot-

ed sister to her siblings, Kyara Coleman and

Daveah Frederic, her God-given best friends.

Kaleiah also leaves behind a tremendous

amount of family such as great-grandparents,

grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who

will forever cherish her memory.

To know Kaleiah was to love her. Her luminous person-

ality drew you in and her pure genuine

heart kept you close. Full of energy and

never a dule moment, Moe always had

a smile on her face and her contagious

laughter can be heard from miles away.

She was a fast learner, not only did she

learn to walk at an early age, but she

became quite the social butterfly at only

7 months. She was bright, bubbly, and

always looking for adventure. She was

always determined and knew exactly what

she wanted. At 4 years old when asked what she

wanted for her

birthday she

responded, “To

go to Paris.”

She loved to

travel, visiting

Jamaica, the

Bahamas, Mex-

ico, and recent-

ly New York for

her 16th birthday with her family.

Kaleiah was a bright star with many tal-

ents. As a self-taught baker, she not only

baked cakes for all of the family events,

but for the neighborhood families as

well. As a young entrepreneur, she grew

a small cake business in which she called,

“Cakes by Moe” which brought her lots

of lucrative attention. When Kaleiah

wasn’t in the kitchen baking, she could

be found doing Tik Tok’s, creating crafts,

or babysitting the neighborhood kids. Ka-

leiah loved serving God. She spent lots of

time helping out in the youth center, as-

sisted her mother in church fundraisers,

and loved the opportunity to feed the

homeless. On September 24, 2023, Kaleiah was officially baptized at Free-

dom Life Church in Hampton, Virginia.

Kaleiah was a top scholar and held academ-

ics to the highest regard. As an honor roll

student, she excelled in all honors AP class-

es in hopes of one day becoming a marine

biologist or an engineer. Kaleiah attended a

host of schools while growing up in Califor-

nia, as well as in Massachusetts and her final

school of attendance in Virginia.

On February 20th, 2024, Kaleiah was called

home to be with our Lord and Savior. She

will be missed deeply and will forever remain in the hearts of everyone

who has ever come to know her.
