Life story

GrannyLouise was a devoted Mother and housewife. She was a extremely dedicated worker in the community and the church. She loved her family tremendously. Louise never met a stranger and always greeted everyone with a smile, kind words or a big hug. Louise was very athletic individual in her youth with a magnificent love for basketball as a wicked point guard, leading her high school basketball team to several state championships. She graduated from " Sweet Old Combs" McIntyre High School in 1961. She received a basketball scholarship to attend Alcorn State University but decided to give up her dreams of becoming a nurse to fulfill her most passionate and rewarding desire of becoming a loving, nurturing, and devoting mother, and wife. Louise served her "Oak Grove Church of COGIC" for 62 years faithful as a member and a dedicated church Mother.
