Life story

Kevin Matthew Adams was born at 2:30 A.M, at Oak Valley hospital in Oakdale, Ca. He came into the world at 8 lbs, 6 0z and 23 inches long. At his arrival he heard the song with arms wide open by Creed. He was such a cute, sweet baby, he hardly ever cried. As he grew he became fearless. He sure had a lot of energy. His heart was so sweet and gentle and kind. He was a mamas boy. Kevin loved hanging out with dad and doing all the manly stuff. He grew up learning about cars and boats. He would skate with his dad. He loved being with his dad , especially camping.

His teenage years were hard but also so much fun. He loved playing video games, riding his skateboard, bike and Movie nights with mom. Kevin liked to play games. He also loved spending time with his friends. He had a lot who would come over all the time and stay with us. Brenden was his best friend, but he had many more . too many to name. Kevin went to Oakdale Jr High, and then was homeschooled. Many people didn’t know that Kevin could do math in his head. Just spit out those numbers! He was very smart.

Kevin did mostly Warehouse work. He worked at Amazon and Tesla. Kevin also worked at Jack n The Box for a short time.

We all know when Kevin talked he yelled. That’s the Italian in him. The Italian in him also gave him the most beautiful tan skin all year round. He was a lot like his father. Another thing people didn’t know about Kevin is that he liked to sing. He enjoyed music daily. Some of Kevin’s favorite T.V shows were Family Guy, American Dad and Krapopolis. He liked anime as well. He had many different tastes, he wasn’t just a certain type. Kevin was a unique person, one of a kind. He never fit in any category he was like the wind touching a little bit of everything. With Kevin you either loved him or hated him. Kevin was an animal lover. He has saved alot of dogs in his life. one being loo loo whom he found on the freeway.

Kevin stood up for himself, his family and people he loved. If you needed him he would drop everything and be there. He was very passionate and that always showed. His heart was HUGE he loved deeply and hurt deeply. If he was angry oh boy would you know it. Sometimes he said a lot of things out of anger or hurt, but he always came back with an apology. He truly loved which is why I think he also hurt.

Cute story…Kevin was at church with us and there was a question and answer time. He was 13. We could text the pastor anonymously and he would answer our questions. A few days before Kevin was playing with his bb gun and shot a bird in the tree.. He cried and cried. The pastor read a question… If you accidently kill a bird, will you go to hell? I knew where that question came from! Kevin’s big heart.

Kevin was an amazing son, father, brother, boyfriend, uncle, grandson and friend. Shyanne was his first love. He met Amber and they were together for 4 years. They had Brooklynn in 2020. The happiest day of his life was when he held his daughter in his arms. He was so proud. He loved her unconditionally, passionately and fierce. Brooklynn definitely was a daddy’s girl, she even got his beautiful skin. They snuggled every night. There was no other time of complete joy on his face than when he was with his baby girl. His brother and sister were more like his best friends. He looked up to Jack and wanted to do the things Jack did, and Laurel was his laughing friend, they were always being silly together. He really wanted a relationship with his sister kayanne and brother Kayden but sometimes things happen. It really did hurt his heart he couldn’t be with them. Kevin walked me down the aisle to marry the man of my dreams 7 years ago. He got a step-dad Chris whom he really looked up to and loved. He also got 2 step brothers. Cj and Branden. Branden became Kevins best friend. They were inseparable. To Kevin, blood didn’t matter. Family is who you love and who would always be there for you. He has a lot of family.

Kevin had big dreams , he wanted to be a doctor when he was little. He used to tell me he would buy me the house of my dreams. As an adult his dream was to make a lot of money and give to people who didn’t have much. To make a good life for his daughter and give her everything. He had a good outlook, as if he could just believe it, it would happen. Kevin told me he would take care of me when I’m old, that I’d never go into a home. But, I won’t wipe your ass mom! I’ll pay for someone to do that. Lol He loved being outside and being in the water. He loved to smoke his weed and take his shots. He liked to just be happy and live. He loved his time with his girlfriend Alyssa the past year and a half. They would hang and smoke and have alot of fun together. The day he was taken from this world he was out at the river with some friends and Alyssa. He was having fun and acting like his goofy self. He went to the store for some cigarettes and never made it back. He passed instantly in a car wreck. He was 23 years old.
