Tyren Curtis Ottay

It is with deep sadness and very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tyren Curtis Ottay, affectionately known as “Ty”; as the result of a tragic accident on June 12, 2024. Ty was the cherished son of Jen Grover and Ivan Carter, Curt Ottay and Andrea Mancini. Brother and best friend of Mareya Ottay, adored Grandson of Mike and Lesley Grover, Carmen and Cecil Ottay. Beloved nephew of Aunt Millicent James, Conrad and Heather Ottay. Loving cousin of Lauryn, Joey, Cameron Rombouts and Iguave and Matthias Ottay. Ty will be missed dearly by his girlfriend Alessia Ditomaso. Beloved Godson of Andrew Ottay. Ty will be deeply missed by his boys especially Matteo, Joey, Alex, Aiden, Christian, Nate, to name but a few. Ty will be missed by many in his extended family of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Ty had a special bond with his sweet puppy Winnie.

In his short life, Ty brought boundless energy and joy to all who knew him. From a young age, his charisma and zest for life were evident. Ty was a man who never stood still; he was always seeking new adventures and challenges, displaying a curiosity and enthusiasm that inspired everyone around him, young or old. He was a true angel on earth who touched everyone he met with love. Ty’s kindness and playful spirit made him a beloved figure in the community, with his neighbours and strangers alike. He had a passion for cars, basketball and life itself. He was a remarkable young man taken from us too soon.
