Michael Lee Wilkerson

December 24, 2003 - August 6, 2022

Mikey was born and raised in Memphis, TN, where he spent his entire life surrounded by family and friends who adored him. Mikey was a beloved family member, a caring partner, and a loyal friend.

Mikey will always be remembered for the God-fearing, kind-hearted, selfless, man he was. He was the kind of person to walk into a room and brighten the mood just by being there. Mikey always made sure to let his loved ones know how much he cared for them, and never went a day without saying “I love you”.

Mikey also had a passion for cars, especially the fast ones, but no matter how fast he was going he always slowed down in time to give people in need money or food. Mikey was the person who would’ve given you the shirt off of his back. Despite his age, he was an old soul with a heart of gold. A day didn’t pass where he didn’t read his Bible. He was grateful for everything he was given in life.

We are forever grateful to have gotten to love such an amazing person. While God holds you in his arms we will continue to hold you in our hearts.

You know I had to come visit you today. 16 years ago Josh went to Heaven and now you are with him. You always made sure that you was here with me every year on Josh’s birthday and his Angelversary. We always sent up balloons. Be watching later for his and I’m sending you a special one too I love you and Josh more than life and miss you both so very much. Today is my Mama’s birthday sweet give her a big hug for me This isn’t fair I should have you and Josh with me but I do know one day I’ll be with y’all. Save my place for me! I hope you both are dancing in the sky I’m sending all my love to my 2 special young men!
