Life story

Our precious boy 🤍

Our son our brother our grandson our friend, we are grateful for all the memories and every moment we shared, kyle we’re so lucky, grateful & privileged that you chose us to be your parents, we as a family were so proud of the man you became, you were such a beautiful blessing when you were born and Luke finally had his little brother, and then when Matthew came along you became the big brother, you were brothers by chance but friends by choice and loved each other so much, as a child you were a cheeky chap never bold well maybe sometimes, you were just full of life always messing and smiling, and every photo I have you have a cheeky smile in it, as you grew you became your own person and your interests in different things began to grow, you loved history especially Irish history and everything about world war 2 and you loved that Ireland was your home , you were such an intelligent young man and always an independent thinker who had passion about your beliefs, we learned so much from you, sometimes we’d clash on different opinions but that was the fun of it, when people met you during the day you were quiet but when you where out with the boys as you always called them you where full of chats because they where your people, we can’t wait to hear some of the stories they have later you’ll probably but cussing them out about letting out all your secrets, you told me recently that you would love to train as a chef as you love cooking I just wish you got to live out that dream, son we love you so much and thank you for being you, thank you for all our memories, thank you for teaching me how to love unconditionally, look down on all of us from where you are, we will forever have a Christmas angel, safe journey our boy and we’ll soon get to hold your hand again, we’ll get to hug you again and kiss you and always remember we’ll never stop loving you, our son forever young. ❤️ a poem Kyle wrote when he was in primary school

As I see the planes pass me by,

I think that I soon might die,

As me and my men run up the beach,

I hear the crackle of gunfire around me and at my feet,

As I see my men lay dead,

I try to think of something instead,

The waste of life I say as the body's come into the bay,

Their body's lay soaked bright red

I sit and scratch my head,

I think of my family at home

Now that I'm all alone.
