One year.
Today marks one year since I last spoke to you both. I remember holding your hand and praying to mom to take you with her. The pain in my heart still lingers today, but I know you are with the love of your life. No longer frustrated by the the pain and weakness that held its grip on you for the last years of your life. But I know you always tried to overcome that and never once thought that you could not have the life you sought to have. I love you both. I hope I feel your presence today and all my remaining days here on Earth.
