Life story
When Edna Marie Fowler was born on February 24, 1946, in Flat Rock, Alabama, her father, Albert, was 31, and her mother, lola, was 22. She married James Verlon Johnson on March 17, 1962, in Dade, Georgia. They had three children in 15 years. She died on July 14, 2016 in an automobile accident, in Trenton, Georgia, at the age of 70.
