Martha Hermoine Bost
“Cry me a handful of Tears” When we were little and we threw a fit cause we didn’t get our way. Cry me a handful of tears. That’s what you’d always say. Well….. Our HANDS and HEARTS are full, but of way more than tears, Because of the way you were loved by all, you met throughout your years. They’re full of all the LESSONS, you shared with us all. Whether through story or by example, no matter big or small. They’re full of all the MEMORIES, made through good times and through bad. You made sure we were rich with them, no matter how little we had. They’re full of SMILES and LAUGHTER from the silly things you’ve said. You would have us either laughing out loud, or simply shaking our head. They’re full of LOVE because you’ve loved our children and our spouses. We’ll take that love and keep it growing each day in all our houses. They’re full of COURAGE to continue pushing through happiness and through strife. Just look at the courage you’ve shown lately facing the end of life. But most of all, our GRATITUDE, outweighs all the other. We’re grateful each and every day God gave you as our mother. Martha was, above all else, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was what her life revolved around. She loved flowers, jewelry, all things purple and to travel. She also loved a good home cooked meal and it better include meat. She loved to laugh and spend time playing games, especially dice games. She spent the last year of her life in an assisted living place that helped her gain some independence. She fought through a lot of health issues throughout life and when she decided she was done fighting, it was really quick and mostly peaceful. She will be missed by many.
