Ruth Ann Blevins
Their love lives on in us.
Our mom was the true heart of our family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren fiercely. There was never a question where her heart was. It was always with her family.
She married her high school sweetheart on June 6, 1958, and together they built a life and a family of seven children. Their love was steady and strong through the years. Our dad was the rock of our family, full of wisdom and a hardworking man who made sure we were always provided for. He stood faithfully beside our mom through every season of life, right up until the very end.
She was a homemaker her entire life, raising her children and later helping raise her grandchildren. She created a home that was warm, welcoming, and full of love. It was the kind of place we all knew we could come back to, no matter what.
She loved scrapbooking and photography, always capturing birthdays, holidays, and the everyday moments that meant the most. Because of her, our memories were never just lived, they were saved.
And if you are wondering why there is not one of these QR codes to scan on our dad’s side of the grave, it is only because he could have cared less about somebody scanning a code to see pictures. That was our mom’s thing. And if you knew her, you know how much she would love the idea that someone could scan a code and see the pictures and the story of her life.
We miss them both more than words can say. Their love still holds our family together, and will always be the heart of our family. 🤍
