Debra Hagland

Debra Hagland, 56, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on September 19th, 2021 at Oak Hill Hospital. She moved to Florida from New York in 2005 and has lived in Spring Hill with her family for the past sixteen years. Debbie loved her job as she had been working in the Hernando County School District as a secretary and for the past five years worked at Challenger K8 where she had a lot of friends. She enjoyed photography, sitting by the pool (but not going in), watching baseball and football (Go Knights!), Hallmark Christmas movies, and beautiful sunsets. However, her favorite hobby was spending time with family, especially her granddaughter. Debbie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Scott Hagland; and her four children, Samantha, Emily, Kimberly, and Jennifer; and one grandchild, McKenna. She is also survived by her parents, Ellen and Ken Peters; her sister, Linda Peters; and two nieces, Kendelle and Amy Peters.
