We love and miss you grandma Sandra! We’re so happy with how your beautiful headstone turned out 💖🫶
When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
Sandra Jeanette Anderson was born in Minot, North Dakota, on May 11, 1969. She was the youngest of eight children of Bud and Thelma (Dean) Anderson. She grew up in Lansford and graduated from Lansford High School in 1987. That year she and five other girls were flown to appear on the Johnny Carson show. She later took classes in childhood development at NDSU.
Sandra worked many jobs over the years, including at Sears, Peggy's Gift Shop and Lowe's Garden Center. She spent many years with Midwest Telemark International in Mohall. With her sister-in-law, Michele Dean, she owned and ran the Simply Petals floral shop in Mohall. She also worked at the Flower House Garden Center before opening her home daycare, Little Owls Daycare.
Sandra gave a great deal to her hometown. She was a charter member and president of the Lansford Jaycees, formed in 2007, and president of the Lansford Community Betterment Enterprise. She also served on the committees for the Lansford All School Reunion and the 2025 Lansford Cubs Country Days.
At home she tended her farm animals, gardened, baked, canned and fished. She liked listening to music and was a fan of stock car racing, the New York Mets, the Carolina Panthers and the Michigan Wolverines. She is survived by her son Devon (Ashly) Anderson of Williston, her grandchildren Sophie, Levi and Jovi, her special friend Tim Dignan and his family, and many siblings, nieces and nephews. Her funeral was held at St. John Catholic Church in Lansford.
