Man of minds
My beloved uncle was a remarkably intelligent man. Every festive season, I’d bring him a new brainteaser, and he would solve it within minutes. I once described a particularly difficult magic card trick — I didn’t even show him — and he called me the next day to explain exactly how it worked. He encouraged me to pursue an education when I was at the crossroads of teenage life, and his guidance stayed with me. The only thing I hold against him — and it haunts me to this day — is that he brainwashed me into supporting the Carlton Football Club. And for that, I remain forever in agony.
Amca
Thanks amca for being the rock of our family. We always looked up to you, and your stories about dede’s fun mischief never failed to make me laugh. I’m so glad you were there on my wedding day - it meant so much to me. Losing you has hit us hard, and it’s still hard to believe you’re not here. We miss you. Esra
