AJ had a beautiful soul from the very first time I met him, I went to one of his parties and remember we started chopping it up about music— he told me he was a rapper and told me to put on a beat, so I connected to the speaker, played a MF DOOM instrumental and like a strike of lightning AJ starts freestyling with ease, and even after the beat was over he kept going and going. It was awesome. From that moment I knew he had a talent and drive like no other and I knew we’d be great friends. I may not have spent half of my life or all of my life with AJ but I truly valued and cherished our friendship the whole time and thank you to AJ’s family for always letting me feel valued and cherished as well.
