Life story

Leon “Big Twin” Collins was born to Walter Collins Sr. and Ada Collins on January 29, 1950. He went to school at McIntosh High School, where he was known and loved for his outgoing personality and basketball skills. He loved Auburn football, playing cards, his family, his friends, and “sitting under the lazy tree”. You could find Leon, most days, lighting up rooms with his humor, spending time and dancing with his twin brother, and enjoying every moment life had to offer. To know him was to love him. It was Leon’s personal mission in life to bring positivity, hope, compassion, and joy to all of those around him and he did just that. He was loved by so many.
