Lady bugs

First I’m not crazy but I wanted to tell you something….. When mom got so sick I started seeing ladybugs. She once told me that when our cousin Joanna died in that fire, Debbie’s husband went to his truck to eat lunch and he sat there thinking about Joanna. A swarm of ladybugs flew in his truck window and he felt it was Joanna letting him know that she was ok. Well after mom died when I was upset thinking of her one would appear. When I was decorating the Christmas tree, or once one landed on my arm when I dialed her old phone number in my car. One was on the hospital room wall when I got there to see Mike when I found out he was so sick. It is always when I need reassurance. Well last week out of the blue a red tulip came up in the grass. We never planted any and it is all by itself. Saturday evening I was outside with the dog and I went to see the tulip closeup. It had two ladybugs on the stem. They were so red on the green stem that it caught my eye. I thought …. Who is visiting with you mom. Now I know. Aunt Helen

Yellow tree

Oh how I miss you, one year has past since you left. this yellow tree reminds me you are ok. Days before you passed, you awoke and told me you saw the most beautiful tree. All of it's leaves were yellow. You also said you saw your Mom and she gave you a doll. I smiled and questioned you a bit. I thought it must be heaven you were seeing. Death came way too fast and I hadn't asked you where you wanted your final resting place to be. I thought Clinton, but, decided I wouldn't be close enough to visit or upkeep your grave. It was decided to lay you next to Palina in Missouri. That way Timmmy could visit and he already had a plot available. I worried over this decision, especially because you never would move to live by me or him. You loved your work with the church and your sisters. Also Mike was there and it was ok for us to move away, but, you wouldn't leave any of us. The day of the funeral it was just us, your family, and I worried that you would be mad because we flew you away from your home...until I saw it....the yellow tree, all by itself between the cemetery and the little white church. I knew it was the place you saw. And you were good. i knew when you left, you were gone from that body and it really didn't matter where it laid. You are here with me and everyone who loved you. I hear your words, I feel your love, and always.....you are missed!
