Antonio P Costa
Antonio, or known by many as, “Tony / TJ” lived a life defined by hard work, love, and devotion to his family and community. After coming to the United States from Portugal, he proudly built his own business and became a beloved member of the Portuguese community, known for his passion for cars, soccer, music, and bringing people together. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and spirit touched everyone he met. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed, but we find comfort knowing he is now at peace and watching over our family.
Antonio lived a life filled with love, hard work, and deep devotion to his family and community. Born in Portugal and later building a life in Connecticut, he worked tirelessly to create opportunities for his family, proudly owning and running his own business and becoming a well-known and respected member of the Portuguese community. He had a passion for cars, soccer, music, and bringing people together, and his joyful spirit and generosity touched everyone he met.

We take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and hope he continues to shine down on our family from above.
“Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there.
I did not die.”
