Cristopher Paul Carr, 58, of Amarillo passed away on June 2, 2025. He was born Saturday, March 4, 1967, in Amarillo to James and Sondra (West) Carr.
Chris was a jack of all trades most recently apartment maintenance and truck driving. There was absolutely nothing he could not fix. He dabbled in cars, house repairs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, you name it!
To know Chris was to love him, but you had to stick around long enough to know him. He loved cars and everything about them. Chris had a huge heart for animals and truly tried to save them all. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sondra Carr; a brother, James E. Carr; a son, Dalton Carr, and his grandparents, Ernest and Ella Carr.
Survivors include two daughters, Madison Carr and Chevelle Carr; two sons, Chris Carr, Jr. and Shelby Carr; a granddaughter, Nirvana Carr; two close friends who were like brothers, Robert Scott and Bobby Upton; Dustin Harold, who was like a son; Connie Carr, his ex-wife and friend; stepmother, Marcia Carr; stepsister, Cindy Herrera and husband Eric; nieces, Tamra Carr and husband DeShawn of Edmond, Oklahoma, Krystal Carlisle and her family of Amarillo, and Ana Carr of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and nephews, Sean Carr and Cameron Carr, both of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Lighthouse Funeral Home, 3707 Wolflin Ave. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 Interstate 27, Amarillo
